Hepworth Adventures is led by Jeremy Hepworth. I am passionate about the outdoors and will pass on my enthusiasm to you- whatever the weather!
I have been involved in walking and climbing all my life. My first major mountain summit was Snowdon in North Wales aged 7. Since then I have been on many adventures and involved in instructing either freelance or with centres since I was 17…. And now climbed Snowdon well over 100 times.

National Body Award Outdoor Qualifications

These are awards I hold. I spent many years obtaining the necessary experience to pass these qualifications administered by Mountain Training.

Mountain Instructor’s Award: This is the highest qualification for taking people out in summer conditions. It includes all aspects of technical rock climbing, and mountaineering in the UK.

Winter Mountain Leader’s Award: This covers walking in both Summer and Winter conditions in the UK and may involve the use of crampons and an ice axe.

Other qualifications I have are:

  • Rock Climbing Instructor
  • Summer Mountain Leader
  • RYA Sailing Instructor
  • BCU Canoe Coach
  • RYA Powerboat Level 2
  • RYA Safety Boat

I am a full member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) and regularly attend CPD training events.  I try my best to get the balance between leading and instructing as well as having my own adventures and when I am not found up a mountain I am likely to be in pursuit of the perfect espresso enjoying the view.
